ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to our family-run farm and mini fiber mill, nestled in the heart of Ramona, CA. Our journey began with a lifelong passion for fiber arts, including crochet, knitting, needle felting, and other crafts. Our desire to get closer to nature and natural fibers inspired us to embark on this incredible adventure of raising angora goats and English angora rabbits and processing raw fibers.

OUR BEGINNINGS

What started as a love for creating cozy garments from luxurious fibers quickly turned into a quest for self-sufficiency. We began learning to process alpaca fiber, then wool, striving to create the perfect blends for our handcrafted items. Our search for the elusive, soft angora rabbit fiber led us to start our own English Angora Rabbit breeding program. This not only ensured a steady supply of high-quality fiber for our handspun yarn but also deepened our connection with these wonderful animals.

EXPANDING OUR HERD

Our farm evolved as we added pygora goats, prized for their luxurious, cashmere-like fiber, and later, angora goats for their soft, silky, and shiny mohair. Each step in our journey brought us closer to our goal of mastering the art of fiber processing. We delved into the diverse world of sheep breeds, exploring the unique qualities of their wool, which eventually led us to weaving and rug making to utilize coarser varieties.

OUR SERVICES

Today, we are proud to offer a range of services at our mini fiber mill, including light skirting, tumbling, washing, scouring, drying, and picking. Our investment in commercial equipment allows us to process fiber at scale, ensuring the highest quality for our customers. We not only process our own fibers but also those from other fiber enthusiasts, striving to create a complete, full-service mini mill in the years to come.

OUR VISION

Our farm is built on a foundation of love for animals, nature, and the fiber arts. We are dedicated to sustainable practices and ethical treatment of our animals, ensuring that every fiber we produce is of the highest quality. Whether you're a fellow fiber artist, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of natural fibers, we welcome you to join us on this wonderful journey. Thank you for supporting our family business. We look forward to sharing our passion for fiber with you!
